28' Swanson Yacht

Very Neat Lots to Offer at $32,900.00

This respected classic yacht design is ideal for coastal cruising and beyond or as a comfortable estuary cruising boat.  It has a long keel, canoe stern and good load carrying capacity. It can be easily handled by 1 or 2 crews.

Vanstella was built at the Swanson Brothers works at Wyong in 1977 and has a slightly modified rig in that the mast is approximately 90 cm higher than the standard rig and it has a short stainless steel bowsprit, thereby increasing the size of the fore triangle. Additional ballast was added to offset the higher mast. The vessel has a roller reefing head sail and a full battened mainsail with lazy jacks and boom bag.

The vessel is fitted with an11 year old 25 hp BETA engine and wheel steering. Below deck it is roomy with a separate main cabin and fore cabin. The vessel can sleep 6.  The present owner purchased the boat in 1982.
